Shmulik Nili is a Professor of Political Science and (by courtesy) Philosophy at Northwestern University. His research integrates contemporary democratic theory with fundamental moral philosophy and social science to analyze extreme abuses of political power, including grand corruption and systemic political violence.

(OUP, 2024). His scholarship examines sovereignty, institutional integrity, and the moral dimensions of public policy.
