Shivaprasad Manjappa

Shivaprasad Manjappa is an Academic Assistant Professor in the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and an Acting Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. His research and clinical work focuses on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cancer immunotherapy.

Dr. Manjappa completed his medical education at J.J.M. Medical College in India, followed by an MPH from George Washington University. His clinical training includes an internship at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, residency at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

His research spans cancer immunotherapy, CAR T-cell therapy, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. His recent work has focused on CD19-directed therapies for lymphomas, immune responses in transplant patients, and novel approaches to cancer treatment.
