Shithi Kamal-Heikman

Shithi Kamal-Heikman is Lecturer in the Environmental Studies Program at UC Santa Barbara, specializing in physical geography and water resource management. Her research examines hydrological systems through remote sensing and modeling techniques.

Courses taught include ENV S 193TW: Introduction to Transboundary Water Sharing, addressing geopolitical and environmental dimensions of shared water resources. Research focuses on snowmelt dynamics, flood prediction, and policy frameworks for international water governance.
