Shirshendu Ganguly is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on probability theory, statistical physics, and their applications, including percolation models, phase transitions, Markov chains, and random graphs. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Washington and has held postdoctoral positions at UC Berkeley. Ganguly has been recognized with the 2019 Sloan Research Fellowship.
