Shiro Akiyoshi

Shiro Akiyoshi is an Associate Professor at the School of Design, part of DePaul University's College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM). He specializes in graphic design and art, blending digital and traditional Japanese image-making techniques.

He earned an M.F.A. in Visual Communication from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His professional experience includes freelance design work since 1995 for international corporations, nonprofits, academic institutions, and art galleries.
