Professor Mady Beatrice is a Professor of Graphic Arts and Director of the Fine Arts Gallery at Saint Peter's University. She holds an M.F.A. from Pratt Institute and a B.F.A. from the University of Dayton. Her work explores cultural iconography, focusing on colors, patterns, and symbols from global art forms, which she integrates into digital prints and illustrations. She advises students in Graphic Arts and co-leads Kappa Pi and the Japanese Anime Manga Club.
Professor Beatrice’s research emphasizes cross-cultural visual analysis, blending travel-inspired imagery with digital techniques. Her exhibitions include solo shows like Floating World: Shadows and Dreams (2016) and group exhibitions such as Momentum (2018). Her artworks are featured in prominent collections like the Dayton Art Institute and corporate spaces including Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.
Her career highlights include grants from the Ford Foundation and New Jersey State Council on the Arts. She teaches courses ranging from computer art to typography and senior thesis projects. As Director of the Fine Arts Gallery, she curates exhibits and supports student and professional artists.
