Shima Mousavi Gargari

Shima Mousavi Gargari holds dual roles as Corporate Innovation Manager at TenneT TSO and Special Lecturer in Reliable Power Supply at HAN University of Applied Sciences. She was inaugurated into her academic role on November 14, 2024, focusing on Asset Management strategies critical to the energy transition. Her work emphasizes optimizing grid infrastructure to integrate renewable energy sources while ensuring reliability and stability.

Shima earned her PhD in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. Since 2013, she has contributed to TenneT’s Asset Management Unit, advancing to Innovation Manager in 2023, where she oversees strategic partnerships and university collaborations. She is a key member of the Balanced Energy Systems Lectorate, collaborating with SEECE on sustainable energy solutions involving solar, hydrogen, and grid technology.

Her research addresses challenges like grid congestion, renewable intermittency, and regulatory compliance, leveraging predictive analytics and advanced maintenance strategies. Shima’s interdisciplinary work bridges academia and industry, aiming to accelerate the energy transition through innovation and cross-sector collaboration.
