Sheryl Strasser

Sheryl Strasser is Associate Professor in the School of Public Health at Georgia State University, where she serves as Faculty Director of Experiential Learning & Workforce Development. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary health promotion planning and evaluation, with emphasis on substance abuse prevention, healthy aging, and elder mistreatment.

Research employs both quantitative and qualitative methods to examine community-based interventions, health disparities in vulnerable populations, and substance use patterns across the lifespan. Her work has been supported by NIH, AHRQ, and private foundations.
