Sheryl Reimer-Kirkham is the Dean of Nursing at Trinity Western University (TWU), appointed in 2019. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of British Columbia (UBC), alongside degrees from UBC and the University of Victoria. Her research focuses on equity, healthcare ethics, spirituality, and global health, with notable projects addressing human rights and albinism in Sub-Saharan Africa and religious pluralism in healthcare settings. She leads international initiatives like the 'Mothering & Albinism' project, advocating for marginalized communities. Reimer-Kirkham is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Nursing and a member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars. She teaches advanced nursing philosophy, ethics, and knowledge translation, emphasizing equity and postcolonial feminist frameworks. Her work bridges academia, policy, and clinical practice, fostering global health equity and ethical care.
