Sheryl Holton

Sheryl Holton is an active Lecturer at Collin College and doctoral candidate in Global Leadership at Lamar University. A 1987 alumna of Texas A&M University, she maintains strong ties to the institution through her advocacy for global study abroad programs in education.

Her career spans diverse educational settings with significant contributions to K-12 development and international teacher training:

• Co-developed St. Philip's Academy (K-5 school) in Frisco, Texas
• Founded Teacher-to-Teacher Training program for Anglican Diocese in Belize
• Current focus on global leadership frameworks for educator preparation

Her research interests emphasize practical applications in teacher development within global contexts. Beyond academia, Sheryl serves as Adult Discipleship Minister at St. Philip's Church and actively participates in family-centered international travel with her husband Robert (Texas A&M '84) and their three children.
