Sheryl C. Johnson-Ross is an Associate Professor in the Department of Strategic, Legal and Management Communications at Howard University's School of Communications. Her research bridges strategic communications and psychology, focusing on diversity in media and advertising, the societal impact of media messages, and recruitment strategies for underrepresented groups in the advertising industry. She has held leadership roles such as former Assistant Chair and contributed to university-wide initiatives, including the President’s Strategic Committee.
