Sherry L. Edwards

Dr. Sherry L. Edwards is a Professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Her expertise spans Mental Health, Cultural Competence, Women's Issues, Substance Abuse, Child Welfare, and Social Work Education. She holds a PhD from the University of South Carolina.

Her research focuses on integrating cultural competence into social work practice and addressing systemic issues in mental health and child welfare systems. Office hours are available by appointment.
