Sherry Eyer is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Gallaudet University, affiliated with the Human Services and Sciences school. She teaches courses such as PSY-706 (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Social justice in Schools and Communities), PSY-712 (Research Methods in Psychology), and PSY-748 (Academic Assessment, Learning Disabilities & Evidence Based Interventions). Her teaching spans topics including school psychology, child psychopathology, statistics, and educational interventions.
Her scholarly work focuses on psychological assessment, Deaf student needs, and barriers in educational access.
