Sherrice Mojgani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre & Dance at Tulane University. She holds a B.A. in Theater Arts from UC Santa Cruz and an M.F.A. in Lighting Design from UC San Diego. Sherrice is a member of United Scenic Artist Local 829 and previously taught at George Mason University.
Her research focuses on two primary areas:
- Developing leadership strategies to enhance inclusion for BIPOC theater professionals
- Advancing environmentally sustainable practices through LED lighting technology and systems in theatrical productions
Sherrice maintains an active professional design portfolio, with recent/upcoming works at The Old Globe, Dury Lane Theatre, and Alley Theatre. Her industry collaborations include Arena Stage, Round House Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, and La Jolla Playhouse.
