Sherri Lynne Katz

Sherri Lynne Katz is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa and a Pediatric Respirologist at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. She also serves as a Senior Scientist at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute.

• Research Focus: Clinical studies of respiratory supportive technologies in children, including sleep disordered breathing, non-invasive ventilation, neuromuscular disease, and long-term outcomes in bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
• Affiliations: Pediatrics Department, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (since 2003); Senior Scientist at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute (since 2017).
• Education: MDCM in Medicine from McGill University (1997); MSc in Science from the University of Toronto.
