Sherod Thaxton is a Professor of Law and African American Studies at UCLA, holding positions at the UCLA School of Law, UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, and UCLA College of Letters and Sciences. He serves as Faculty Director of the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. His expertise spans quantitative empirical legal studies, criminal law, criminal procedure, and the sociology of crime and punishment.
