Dr. Sherif Elbarrad serves as Interim Dean of Management and Professor at the Mihalcheon School of Management, Concordia University of Edmonton. Previously, he held leadership positions including Interim Associate Dean for Student Engagement & Success and Associate Dean at MacEwan University's School of Business. With an extensive international academic career spanning Egypt, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Canada, Dr. Elbarrad has taught at eight universities and served as Chair of Accounting at three institutions.

He approaches research with a strong emphasis on real-world applicability, as evidenced by his recent study on CPA competencies and employer needs in Alberta.

Through this venture, he develops textbook-independent resources that help faculty save time while developing job-market-ready skills in students. He also maintains an educational YouTube channel featuring animated explanations of management accounting concepts.
