Shelley D. Dionne is the Dean and Professor of Management at the School of Management, Binghamton University. She holds a BS from the Rochester Institute of Technology, an MBA, and a PhD from Binghamton University. Her research focuses on leadership teams, multi-level organizational dynamics, and social network structures. Key interests include collective decision-making, leader emergence in virtual and face-to-face settings, and the impact of leadership on innovation and medical error reporting.
Her work integrates agent-based simulations, evolutionary computation, and social network analysis to explore complex organizational phenomena.
