Sheila Yousuf-Abramson

Sheila Yousuf-Abramson serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at Dominican University, teaching practice courses and leading the Health and Well Being track. A licensed clinical social worker, she brings extensive field experience in child welfare, maternal health, disabilities, mental health, and bereavement support to her student-centered pedagogy.

Dr. Yousuf-Abramson's research centers on complex grief experiences, particularly among young adults in child welfare systems, examining death-related and non-death losses.
