Sheena Knights

Sheena Knights is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in Infectious Diseases and serving as Associate Program Director of the HIV Fellowship program. She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Princeton University, earned her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed infectious diseases fellowship training at UT Southwestern.

Her clinical focus centers on HIV care, while her research examines HIV-associated Kaposi’s sarcoma and healthcare disparities. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Infectious Disease, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019. Outside academia, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and family time.
