Shawn Mauldin

Shawn Mauldin serves as the Director and Adkerson Professor of Accountancy at the Adkerson School of Accountancy, Mississippi State University. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Mississippi, and degrees from Nicholls State University. A licensed CPA in Mississippi, he also holds CMA, CFP, and CGMA certifications. Previously, he served as Dean of the College of Business and Chair of Accounting at Nicholls State University, where he held the Cenac Chair in Accounting. Named Dean Emeritus in 2024, he has been actively involved in AACSB accreditation processes for two decades. His research focuses on behavioral accounting, pedagogy, and ethics, with over 100 publications and presentations.
