Shaukat Ali Khan

Dr. Shaukat Ali Khan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Brunel University London's College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences. With over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience in teaching, research, management, and practical civil/structural engineering, he specializes in seismic risk assessment, structural evaluation, and earthquake engineering. His industrial expertise spans the design of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, highway bridges, and irrigation structures, alongside feasibility analysis and project inspections.

• Eng. in Structural Engineering (University of Calgary, Canada, 2002)
• Sc. in Civil Engineering (Military College of Engineering, Pakistan, 1993)

His research focuses on seismic vulnerability assessment, earthquake risk mitigation, and strengthening of reinforced concrete structures. He is actively engaged in teaching civil engineering subjects through Brunel London School at NCUT in Beijing, China.
