Sharon T. Strocchia is a Professor of History at Emory University, specializing in Renaissance Italy's social and cultural history, gender studies, and premodern medicine. She holds degrees from Stanford University (B.A.) and the University of California, Berkeley (M.A., Ph.D.). Her research explores intersections between gender, healthcare, and commercial practices in early modern Europe.
