Sharon Solwitz is a Professor in the Department of English at Purdue University. She earned her Master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and holds an M.F.A. in printmaking. Her literary works have garnered significant recognition, including the Carl Sandburg Prize and the Society of Midland Authors award, with her short story collection Blood and Milk being a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award.
