Sharon Sheehan is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Master of Science in Education (MSED) program at Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy (SESP). She has taught in the MSED program since 2019 and has over 25 years of experience in P-12 education, beginning in 1994. Concurrently, she serves as an instructional coach and mathematics teacher at Glenbrook South High School, focusing on enhancing teacher effectiveness and student outcomes.

Her research and professional interests center on teacher leadership development, mathematics pedagogy, and policies that improve educational equity. She emphasizes the role of educators and leaders in creating systemic improvements for all students. She currently splits her time between university teaching and K-12 instruction/coaching roles.
