Sharon Choe is a Research Fellow at the University of Copenhagen, affiliated with the Department of English, Germanic and Romance Studies. Her work bridges Norse Studies, Disability Studies, and Eighteenth-Century British Literature, focusing on Anglo-Nordic cross-cultural exchange and the body politic metaphor.

Her research explores how William Blake engaged with Old Norse culture to reimagine disability in poetic narratives, alongside broader themes of political philosophy, cultural memory, and Medical Humanities. Recent publications address Blake’s disability metaphors and Nordic Romanticism.
