Shari L. Goldberg is a Professor in the School of Nursing & Health Sciences at Colby-Sawyer College. Since joining the faculty in 2002, she has taught senior nursing capstone courses, community and public health nursing, and an introductory course on public health. She serves on the State of New Hampshire Public Health Improvement Services Council and contributes to national efforts integrating public health into undergraduate liberal arts education.

Goldberg’s research focuses on population health, women’s health, and public health education. Her work explores food insecurity among older adults, academic-community partnerships for health promotion, and the integration of quantitative literacy into nursing practice. She has developed NSF-funded teaching modules on demographic data analysis and medication safety.
Her publications span topics like social determinants of health, geriatric nursing, and healthcare networks. Awards include the 2009-10 Policy Research Fellowship at George Mason University’s Center for Health Policy Research and Ethics. She has received grants from the National Science Foundation for educational initiatives and actively participates in national conferences such as the American Public Health Association and the Association for Prevention, Teaching, and Research.
