Kathleen Tennent is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing & Health Sciences at Colby-Sawyer College. She joined the full-time faculty in 2024 after serving as adjunct faculty since 2010. Her academic journey includes a Diploma in Nursing (1992), BSN (1997), MPH in epidemiology (2002), MSN (2016), and DNP (2023) from institutions in Canada and the United States.

With 34 years of experience, she practices as a pediatric critical care nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Dartmouth Health.
