Sharareh Taghipour

Sharareh Taghipour is an Associate Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Mechatronics Engineering. She holds the Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Physical Asset Management and directs the Reliability, Risk and Maintenance Research Laboratory (RRMR Lab).

She develops advanced mathematical models to optimize processes under uncertainty, with applications in manufacturing and healthcare.

Recent publications highlight her work in reliability engineering, real-time data integration, and sustainable asset management. Trends include dynamic scheduling, federated learning for predictive maintenance, redundancy allocation in complex systems, and environmental performance modeling using earned value techniques.
