Sharad Purohit is an Associate Professor at Augusta University, with appointments across multiple colleges and departments including the College of Allied Health Sciences (Medical Laboratory, Imaging and Radiologic Sciences), Medical College of Georgia (Obstetrics and Gynecology), and Center for Biotechnology and Genomic Medicine. His research focuses on biomarker discovery for diagnostic and prognostic applications in diseases like Type 1 Diabetes, renal cancer, and Parkinson's disease.
