معرفی
Dr. Shaolei Gai is a Researcher at the School of Engineering, University of Newcastle, Australia. His work focuses on multiphase flow dynamics, energy storage systems, and heat/mass transfer phenomena. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering (2021) from the University of Newcastle, preceded by Bachelor and Master degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from Shenyang Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, China. Since 2022, he has been affiliated with the Priority Research Centre for Energy Technologies & Utilisation.
Research interests include computational fluid dynamics (CFD), energy conversion technologies, and ultrasonic-driven phase change processes. His recent work explores hybrid buoyancy-compressed air energy storage systems and the role of cavitation bubbles in ice nucleation. He has contributed to experimental and theoretical studies on multiphase flow in microreactors and slurry systems.
Publications highlight innovations in energy storage efficiency, bubble dynamics under ultrasonic fields, and lattice Boltzmann modeling of freezing processes. Collaborations with industry and cross-disciplinary teams underscore his focus on practical applications of fundamental research.
