Shaochen Chen is a Professor in the Aiiso Yufeng Li Family Department of Chemical and Nano Engineering at UC San Diego, with affiliations in Bioengineering, Materials Science, and the Institute of Engineering in Medicine. He leads the Chen Lab, pioneering 3D bioprinting technologies for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.
