Shantanu Chakrabartty is the Clifford W. Murphy Professor and Vice Dean for Research and Graduate Education at the McKelvey School of Engineering, Washington University in St. Louis. He holds affiliations with the Institute of Materials Science & Engineering. His research focuses on analog and neuromorphic computing, energy-efficient sensors, and biomedical instrumentation.

Recent projects involve neuro-inspired quantum optimization and low-power radar systems funded by a $1.9M grant.
