Shannon Shumate

Shannon Shumate is a full-time lecturer in the Department of Accounting at Kennesaw State University (KSU). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Auburn University in 2000, followed by a Master of Accountancy degree from Auburn in 2001. Her professional experience includes roles as an auditor at Ernst & Young, Controller at The Facility Group, and an adjunct accounting professor. She became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2004.
