Shannon Estes

Dr. Shannon Estes is a full-time Lecturer in the PT Programs Campus at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS), within the College of Rehabilitative Sciences. She holds certifications as a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist and a vestibular rehabilitation specialist. Her work focuses on neurological, balance, and vestibular disorders in acute care, inpatient, and outpatient settings, alongside wheelchair and seating therapy in Dallas, TX.

Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University (2015), a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Emory University (2015), and current enrollment in a Master of Public Health program at Texas Tech University.

Research interests span vestibular rehabilitation, blood flow restriction interventions for neurological populations, and quality-of-life improvements in neurological diagnoses. She has contributed to clinical mentorship, interdisciplinary leadership (e.g., creating therapy roadmaps for international affiliates), and maintaining high practice standards in clinics. Professional roles include guest lecturing in physical therapy programs nationwide and serving as a therapy lead for wheelchair and seating teams.
