Shannon Cole is an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She joined the university in 1999 and currently co-directs the Vanderbilt Program in Interprofessional Learning (VPIL), a longitudinal program integrating medical, nursing, pharmacy, and social work students into clinical settings. Her work emphasizes interprofessional education, clinical simulation, and rural healthcare.
