Dr. Shangshang Li is a macroeconomist specializing in macroeconomic policy design, with a focus on international macroeconomics, monetary policy, and political economy. He coordinates the Advanced Macroeconomics module (ECON343) and teaches World Economic History (ECON357).
He holds a D.Phil. in Economics from the University of Oxford.
His research explores global financial cycles, unconventional monetary policy effectiveness, and structural reform implementation. Recent publications include studies on Japan and the US monetary policies and capital flow dynamics.
