Shane Slattery-Quintanilla is Associate Professor of Film at Vassar College and an Emmy-nominated filmmaker. The Ballad of Esequiel Hernández (2008), investigating a US Marine's killing of a teenager, earned an Emmy nomination for investigative journalism. His artistic practice includes published poetry and multidisciplinary collaborations through the Nomadique Arts Collective.
