Shane Lishawa is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Environmental Science at Loyola University Chicago, where he has worked since 2008. His research focuses on the interplay between invasive plant species, biodiversity, nutrient cycling, and climate change in Great Lakes coastal wetlands. He collaborates extensively with tribal communities, federal agencies, and conservation organizations on applied restoration projects.
