Shaminder Singh is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing & Midwifery, Mount Royal University. Their academic journey includes a PhD in Nursing from the University of Calgary, complemented by a Master's in Applied Psychology and a Nursing degree. As a full-time faculty member, Singh focuses on advancing nursing education, particularly in Adult Health, Mental Health, and Research Literacies. Their research emphasizes health promotion, risk reduction, and self-management strategies, with a particular interest in gender and ethnicity in healthcare contexts. Singh co-leads initiatives developing dialogue-driven digital platforms to address chronic illness burdens post-pandemic.
