Dr. Shallu Singh serves as a Sessional Instructor in the Department of Leadership & People Management at the Graduate Faculty of University Canada West and holds faculty positions at Yorkville University. With a Ph.D. in consumer psychology and dual specialization in Marketing and Human Resource Management, she brings over 20 years of cross-continental teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate business programs in India and Canada.
Her educational credentials include doctoral training in consumer psychology and CPHR-Candidate certification (BC/Yukon), complemented by DDI-United States certifications as a Certified Executive Coach and Lead Assessor. She has taught courses including HRMT 622 Talent Management at UCW.
Dr. Singh's research spans Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Consumer Psychology with applied focus on psychometric assessments, team building, and competency modeling. Her work integrates industry experience from projects with General Motors, Holcom, Ambuja, ACC, and Idea Cellular, emphasizing data-driven organizational development and quality assurance frameworks.
As an educator, she employs learner-centric methodologies to create stimulating classroom environments while serving on institutional committees dedicated to academic excellence. Her professional engagements include national capacity-building programs, international conference participation, and staff development initiatives across micro-lab implementations and training frameworks.
