Dr. Shalini Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Sciences at the University of Limerick, holding affiliations with the Bernal Institute and the Centre for Battery and Energy Materials Research. Her expertise spans nanomaterial synthesis, surface chemistry, and energy applications. She earned a PhD from the University of Limerick (2016) and conducted postdoctoral research at Ghent University (Belgium), focusing on colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals and surface dynamics. Her research emphasizes shape, phase, and composition control in nanocrystals for energy storage and conversion. She has received accolades such as the Emerging Investigator awards (2021, 2022) and FWO Postdoctoral Fellowship (2017).
