Shail Jadav

Shail Jadav is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at TU Wien (Technical University of Vienna), working under Prof. Dongheui Lee. His research focuses on advancing safe and efficient human-robot collaboration through robotics and control theory, emphasizing nonlinear control and robot learning for manipulators and grasping systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar, where he developed human-inspired learning controllers under Prof. Harish PM. His work has been recognized with awards including the IIT Gandhinagar Gold Medal and grants like the DST NIDHI PRAYAS. He has conducted research at TU Wien and the University of Texas at Austin, contributing to shared autonomy and gait training devices. Shail's research spans multimodal datasets for robotic assembly, variable impedance control, and medical robotics applications. His recent work includes the REASSEMBLE dataset and studies on torque reduction in manipulators.
