Shahriar Mazhari is a Senior Lecturer in Nautical Science at Warsash Maritime School, part of Solent University. He is a member of the Warsash Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS) Research Centre and Warsash Maritime School Research Centre. His research focuses on maritime decarbonization strategies, autonomous shipping technologies, and sustainable maritime operations.
He contributed to the e-TUTOR project (2022-2023) as a Co-Investigator, focusing on knowledge exchange in maritime software applications. His 2023 publication in the Journal of Maritime Research explores challenges and opportunities in maritime decarbonization.
