Dr. Shahla Meedya is an Honorary Fellow at the School of Nursing, University of Wollongong, Australia. She leads research in primary care nursing, focusing on women’s and children’s health, breastfeeding interventions, chronic disease management, and technology-enhanced education. Her work includes developing the Milky Way mHealth app to promote breastfeeding and integrating evidence-based practices into nursing curricula. She actively supervises PhD students in areas like digital health interventions and breastfeeding education.
Research Interests:
- Breastfeeding promotion and eHealth interventions
- Women’s health, maternal mental health, and respectful maternity care
