Shaheen Naseer is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oxford Martin School, University of Oxford, affiliated with the Future of Development Group. She serves as College Advisor at St Antony’s College and holds Associate Membership in the Department of Economics while actively participating in the Political Economy research group coordinated by Noam Yuchtman and Jean Paul Carvalho.
As an applied microeconomist, Dr. Naseer investigates how gender reforms interact with public sector assignment systems to generate unintended consequences for officials' careers. Her methodologically rigorous work combines administrative data analysis with experimental designs conducted in direct partnership with government organizations.
