Shadiya Alingal-Meethal

Shadiya Alingal-Meethal is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Robotics Research Group at the University of Hertfordshire. She holds a PhD in Computer Science focusing on corticomuscular coupling and EEG microstates during human-robot interaction. Her current work involves the Horizon Europe-funded SWAG project, developing soft wearable assistive garments using advanced materials and sensing technologies.

Research interests include rehabilitation robotics, physiological signal processing, and human-robot interaction. Key technical expertise involves EEG analysis, signal processing methodologies like Wigner-Hough Transform, and neurophysiological monitoring.
