Shachar Pinsker

Shachar Pinsker is a Professor of Judaic Studies and Middle East Studies at the University of Michigan, with a joint appointment in both departments. He is also the Associate Director of the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies and a Fellow of the American Academy of Jewish Research. His research focuses on modern Hebrew and Jewish literature and culture, with special attention to multilingual Jewish texts in Europe, Israel, and America. He has authored award-winning books like Literary Passports and A Rich Brew, and co-directs the NEH-supported project on the Feuilleton and modern Jewish cultures.
