Dr. Shabnam Inanloo Dailoo is an Associate Professor and Director of the Heritage Resources Management Program at Athabasca University, where she also serves as Associate Dean, Strategic Initiatives in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. With over two decades of experience in heritage conservation, her work bridges World Heritage, cultural landscapes, and climate adaptation through community-centered approaches.
- PhD in Environmental Design (University of Calgary)
- Post-doctoral research at Université de Montréal under Canada Research Chair on Built Heritage
- Former Heritage and Community Engagement Advisor
Her research focuses on heritage documentation, policy analysis, and heritage education reform. She actively supervises undergraduate and graduate students in practicum projects and coordinates international initiatives like the ICCROM International Summer School (2022). Key affiliations include:
