Seánna Howard is an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of the International Human Rights Advocacy Workshop at the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law, within the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program. She specializes in representing Indigenous communities in international human rights cases, including landmark cases before the Inter-American and United Nations systems.

Her research focuses on advancing Indigenous rights through legal advocacy, with notable work involving the Western Shoshone, Chiricahua Apache, Maya of Belize, and the Navajo Nation. She currently leads the Navajo Nation's petition to the Organization of American States and collaborates with the UN Special Rapporteur on Indigenous Peoples' Rights.
Professor Howard’s International Human Rights Advocacy Workshop engages law students in live cases and advocacy before international bodies. She has held roles such as Externship Director and Clinical Staff Attorney, contributing to legal education and policy reform.
